Pretty bad quality Jun 07, 2010 By Scott
Well i have liked the Wayfarer style and decided to get a "replica" copy. I orederd 3 different ones from different sellers to test them out (all cheap less then $5). This was one that i ordered. THese have a very..kids plastic to them and are pretty crappy feeling. One hinge is off too lose and swings far out so it wont fit. and the lenses arent that pinkish hue, its plain dark black. The other pair i had was Blues Brothers Wayfarer Dark Black Sun Glasseswhich were FAR superior. They have spring hinges, dark black tinted (would perfer smokey but its fine) fit perfectly, and don't have a cheap plastic feel to them. I would HIGHLY recommend getting the other ones if you want a cheap quality pair. total cost, these= Order Total: $5.25. The better ones i linked, Order Total: $8.64 Not much difference. I also ordered the white ones of the blues brothers Blues Brothers Wayfarer Dark Black Sun Glasses for a total of= Order Total: $3.79..so if you perfer the white (exact same quality as the black blues brothers ones.

They look sort of cheap, and that's expected when they're knock-offs. But, if you are going to buy these, try your best not to drop them. I dropped them once and the paint scratches off very easily. The lense also popped out, but that popped right back in.

beware, these are not what is pictured. (which is sorta lame no??)

You do not get a gradient lense as pictured. They're completely black....black frames and dark black lenses.

Awesome glasses, especially for the price. Have a nice feel, does not feel cheap in any way nice and solid.

My only complaint is i expected the lenses to be different, i don't know if the picture is off color but the lenses look purple faded to clear. The glasses i got were all tint black, but they're still awesome.

Do not buy this item. It is very cheap looking and its not even what it looks in the picture. I bought the white ones thinking that the lens would be kind of purple but not, they were black.
