4great for what you pay for  Oct 26, 2008 By James L. Mcdaniel "phirebug"
great sunglasses for the price. i went through about 9 pairs of these things when i was in iraq because they do get scratched up a lot going out on a tank every day, plus i gave away a couple pairs to my friends. but they are really dark, which is why i loved them, since iraq is located roughly thirty feet from the surface of the sun.

4Poor Quality but Great Price  Apr 01, 2011 By DullJack
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R27A81YBO18H6T 2/10 based on overall quality compared to other sunglasses.

9.5/10 if you only compare it to other sunglasses that cost $2.40 or less per pair and come with a free microfiber pouch. Wait, are there any others? Some of the stitching on 2 of the pouches was done poorly, if that matters at all. Some of the stitching just isn't uniform. Purely cosmetic.

I gave it 4 stars because they are an incredible value per dollar. Not 5, because of how bent they are and they don't feel like they could take much rebending before breaking. But at this price, these are pretty much just disposable sunglasses so who cares?

There was one tiny, almost unnoticeable scratch on the mirror finish coating the inside of the lens of the pair I was wearing in the video. I didn't notice it until now, the third time I've closely looked at all the lenses. It was caused from the nosepad being bent all the way to the lens when it arrived, you see this in the video. Again, the scratch is nearly invisible and can't be seen by the wearer or anyone else unless they are literally inches from your face. The other pairs had perfectly clear lenses.

If you have any questions feel free to ask, and I will probably update this with an obituary when each pair dies so you can get an idea of how well they hold up to my lavish rockstar lifestyle.

EDIT:
These definitely fall in the 'costume jewelry' category. No UV protection, they are so dark that I can't use my cell phone with them on without straining to make out what is on the screen. Despite them being this dark though, it still hurts to have the sun in your vision. When the sun is in front of you, everything else gets washed out a bit. When light is hitting the shades from behind, the glare off the inside of the lenses makes it pretty hard to see out as well. They are holding up fine to the light use I am getting out of them. I don't recommend that you drive much with these on, even on a bright day, you really can't see what is going on inside your car (speedometer, clock, etc)and what you CAN see is going to be somewhat washed out. You do sort of owe it to the other people on the road to not be half blind on your McDonalds speed run. That all being said, I look F'ing great in these!

5Cheap, yet Quality Aviators  Jun 26, 2007 By Sean Colyer
Wasn't too sure what to expect but they are 3 good mirror aviators. In the brief time I've had them they've traveled across continents and held up well to abuse. The nose rests got bent some but I blame that on being forcefully pressured in my pocket and was easily remedied by just moving them back into position.

Good buy.

3You do get what you pay for...  Sep 28, 2007 By Whitedevil01 "Noah"
With this product, you really get what you pay for: 3 aviator sunglasses for basically $9.

They're somewhat solid and sturdy than I initially assumed they would be. I bought these sunglasses to adjust to the "Aviator" style, rather paying for a "better quality" pair and disliking it.

Overall, it's a good value. If you break one, or scratch a pair, (and if you're really concerned with cosmetic appearances) there's two other pairs.

5Epic shades  May 17, 2011 By Samuel Gerry
Everyone I work with made a pact to grow epic mustaches for this deployment. We started with 20, and halfway through we're down to 3. Clearly we don't have the quality of people we thought we did. As a reward to the remaining 3 Moustache Musketeers, we decided to further enhance our epic appearance by wearing mirror lens aviators whenever we are indoors. Prior to the aviators arriving, we honestly looked like a trio that you wouldn't want to leave your kids with. Everything changed when the aviators arrived, it was almost as if they fused with our faces. Suddenly I felt like we channeled powers that have been locked away from mankind for thousands of years. After four hours of wearing our eyewear inside a poorly lit office, the responsibility was overbearing. Clearly we're going to have to take this in baby steps. It's been about a week, and providing we wear our aviators, we're able to make life and death decisions without blinking (or so everyone thinks, these puppies are like privacy mirror that radiate confidence).
