V 1.08 only for the serious and skilled player. Apr 09, 2009
By Esteban L. Aquino V The V 1.08 trainer might look cool, but feel uncomfortable. Unless you are standing and moving on your toes you will endure a lot of pain. And unless you know how to hit a ball proper you will break toe nails, get blisters and so on. The design on this trainer will force you to move and react on your toes like you are supposed to, and it will punish you for slacking off sprinting on your heels. Ball control is difficult unless you can read the ball with a lot of accuracy and react in the same fashion. You will feel naturally compelled to used certain parts of your feet to have a first contact with the ball, to dribble it and juggle. Once you get a hang of the design and the texture expect a lot of power and swerve with little effort. This boots are for technical players. If you are looking for a lot of comfort and easy ball handling get a pair of nikes. But if you are looking for a challenge and are willing to put some effort into improving your game I would not change the V 1.08 for any other boot out there today. This summer I'll be trying the outdoor ones, they are supposed to be more rigid but I need the support since I like to sprint and change directions and with little support I can roll and ankle.
